The Atlantic Oyster 5 Freestanding Stove is the highly popular, mid-sized counterpart to the Oyster 8. Unlike many multi-fuel models in the Atlantic lineup, the Oyster 5 is a dedicated wood-burning stove. It is designed specifically for standard-sized living rooms, combining a sleek, modern steel body with a large glass window to deliver a contemporary Scandinavian feel.

Key Features & Design

• Dedicated Wood Burner: Specially engineered to burn seasoned logs and timber at maximum thermal efficiency. It does not feature a traditional multi-fuel riddling grate, ensuring a completely flat, authentic firebox bed optimized for wood combustion.
• Modern Steel Construction: The premium steel body heats up rapidly upon ignition, providing fast, efficient convection and radiant heat distribution throughout the room.
• Widescreen Flame Profile: Features a clean, minimalist front door with an exceptionally large, upright ceramic viewing window, giving it the appearance of a much larger stove.
• Direct External Air Intake: Fully equipped with a dedicated external air connection. It can draw its combustion air directly from outside the building, making it perfect for modern air-tight properties, new builds, or homes with Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) systems.
• Clean-Burn Airwash & Tertiary Air: Pre-heated secondary air sweeps down across the inside of the glass to keep it perfectly clear of soot, while a tertiary air system injects oxygen at the top of the chamber to ignite unburnt gases.
