The Mourne Summit 8 features a highly advanced triple-action combustion airflow system. Primary air fuels fast initial ignition, the secondary airwash aggressively cycles hot oxygen down the front glass pane to prevent soot build-up, and an integrated tertiary air loop injects pre-heated air into the top of the chamber. This reignites airborne particulate gasses before they can exit into the flue. This sophisticated burning style is why it easily gains DEFRA exemption and EcoDesign compliance.

Installation Note: Because it carries a nominal heat output under 5 kW and features a shallow, space-saving depth of just 260 mm, it slides comfortably into standard, shallow fireplace recesses. Under standard local building regulations, it typically does not require a permanent, drafty air vent to be drilled entirely through your living room wall.
